schedule. (Dates vary by course.)
New textbooks that are damaged, contain names,
underlining, or marking of any kind will be valued at used book price. Visa,
MasterCard, and Discover Card returns will be credited back to the card
account. You MUST bring in the card used to purchase the books in order
to receive a refund.
All items must be returned in-person. If for some
reason you cannot come to the bookstore and decide to ship your items, you will
be responsible for all shipping costs.
Please keep your sales receipt!
No returns will be made
without it!
Do not mark in your books until:
- You have gone to class and are
certain they are the correct text.
- You are certain that you will not
change classes.
All Textbooks that are sold with online/student
access codes must be returned with code unopened.
Quick studies and special orders CANNOT be returned.
Trade books and reference books may be returned with receipt within one week of
receipt date as long as they are not damaged or written in. Other merchandise
in new condition (excluding textbooks, school supplies, art supplies, clothing
& book bags), may be returned with receipt within two weeks of receipt
date.
Textbook return requests, for a withdraw from a
course after the return date, will be considered only when justified by
extenuating circumstances such as illness, job changes, accident, death or
illness in immediate family which prevent continued attendance in the class.
You must file an appeal with the Student Accounting
Office for your tuition refund. Once the appeal is reviewed, you will receive a
letter regarding the outcome of your appeal. If the letter states you received
a tuition refund, the Bookstore will give you a refund on textbooks that are in
usable condition and are being used in the current semester.
If you receive a letter of credit, you will be issued a gift card to be used in
the Bookstore for all textbooks that are in usable condition and are being used
in the current semester.
No textbook will be considered for return or credit
without your receipt. In order to obtain your credit or refund, you have two
weeks from the date of the letter to return your books to the Bookstore. If a
refund is given in the Bookstore, it will be returned to you in the same form
as purchased (cash, credit card, grant, or scholarship).
