Textbook F.A.Q.
Used books are either bought back from students
or purchased from nationwide wholesalers. This way we can give you access to the most used books, which means you save more money by shopping
at the bookstore. Purchasing used books is an easy way for you to save money. We strive to bring in as many used books as possible, which save you about 25% off the cost of new!
Textbook rentals are available to
ICC students.
Essentially renting a textbook is acquiring books (borrow with a small fee) needed for your classes at a lower cost. When the semester
has ended, you return the textbook(s) to the ICC Bookstore by the rental
return deadline, and you've only spent a fraction
of the cost to purchase your textbooks. Textbook rentals can be covered by financial aid so that all students can
receive the option to spend less money for their books.
