Digital E-Text: The Digital Alternative (eBook)
- o Contains the exact same pages and illustrations as the printed version of the text
- o In store:
- Instructions will be located at the bottom of your receipt.
- o Online:
- Instructions will be emailed to you once your order is placed.
- o Bring ICC student ID
- o Print out class schedule
- “DIGITAL E-TEXT THROUGH REDSHELF” in title indicates digital e-text option
- o Tell bookstore staff digital e-text option you want to purchase
- o Bookstore staff will give you a digital e-text card to take to register and will staple a digital e-text flyer to your schedule
- o Take card and rest of your items to front checkout to pay
- Digital e-text card is for cashier to scan
- o Cashier will go over digital e-text information and other bookstore policies with you
- o Instructions on how to access your digital e-text will be located at the bottom of your receipt
- o Click on the Textbook link on the menu
- o Click Buy Textbooks
- o Select the appropriate term, department, course number, and section number
- o Click on the plus sign next to Digital Rental and click the Purchase button
- o Continue browsing for other textbooks/items as needed
- o Click on the View Cart link to check out
- o Click on the Checkout button
- If you are a returning customer, sign into your account.
- If you are a new customer, create a bookstore account, using your ICC email address.
- o Once signed in, input desired shipping method/shipping info
- o Input ICC student ID number, including ICC and the seven-digit number
- o Select desired payment method and input payment information/billing address
- o Review and place your order
- o You will receive an email from donotreply@redshelf.com with instant access to your digital e-text once you place your order
- This email is separate from your confirmation email
- o Must click on the “View Book Details” button on your shelf to see if your digital e-text is available for offline access
- o Must click on the “View Book Details” button on your shelf to see if your digital e-text offers print options
- o Digital e-texts will have “DIGITAL E-TEXT THROUGH REDSHELF” in the title. Digital e-texts are a digital item and access is emailed to you.
- o E-books/access codes are physical products that are shipped to you and will have “physical access code” in the title
- o Make sure you are checking the correct email and are checking your junk/spam folder.
