Return Guidelines for Rental Textbooks
Rental textbooks must be returned before the return deadline to avoid a penalty.
The Rental Program follows the same return guidelines as the Bookstore's current Return Guidelines. The Bookstore's Return Guidelines must be met, in addition to the Rental-Specific Return Guidelines below, before a return is considered.
** Please Keep Your Sales Receipt.** NO Returns will be made without it.
Rental-Specific Return Guidelines

- Minimester Classes: 2 days from start of class
- 4 Week Classes: 2 days from start of class
- 8 Week Classes: One week from start of class
- 12 Week Classes: 10 days from start of class
- Books rented after return deadlines: 2 days
- Books bought after March 25, 2013: No Refund

Do not mark in your books until:
- You have gone to class and are certain they are the correct texts.
- You are certain that you will not change classes.
Rentals must be returned before the return deadline. If for some reason you cannot come to the bookstore and decide to ship your items, rentals MUST be returned by the return deadline, and you are responsible for all shipping costs and the items.
Returns at the end of the semester:
- ALL rentals, regardless if the class is online or if finals are after the return deadline, are due by the return deadline, or you will be charged the full retail price of a new book.
- If you do NOT return your rentals before the Rental Return Deadline, you will be charged the entire new retail price of the book, in addition to the rental price that was originally paid (money that was paid during the rental transaction will NOT go towards the replacement costs). Also, you will NOT be able to register for future classes or send transcripts, and a hold will be put on your account.
- If you do NOT return your rental in a reasonable condition to include no excessive highlighting, no notes in the margin, no torn pages, no water/food stains, etc., you will be charged the entire new retail price of the book, in addition to the rental price that was originally paid (money that was paid during the rental transaction will NOT go towards the replacement costs)..
